If you're reading this, we are now searching for players to assist with JailsMC.
If this is something you're interested in then this is the place to come to and apply for a Helper position on the server.

By applying for a staff position on JailsMC, there are a few requirements for your application to be considered, as well as the quality of the application in terms of being accepted.

    1. Active within the community- This includes other platforms such as the Discord, & Forums - not just playing on the server.

    2. Discord - To be a staff member on the server, you must have Discord & have joined the server Discord previous to your application ( This is due to the fact that we primarily use Discord to communicate with our Staff Team.

    3. Patience, & kindness - We expect each & every one of our Staff Team to represent JailsMC in a positive light. This includes treating other players and staff with respect, regardless of personal opinions towards those people.

    4. English skills - While we do not expect English to be spoken as a first language, you are required to have a high ability in written & spoken English due to the fact of that being the primary language on the server. That being said, any additional language skills are a plus & are encouraged.

    5. 7 days since last application - This may not be applicable to everyone, but if your last application was denied for any reason, you must wait at least 7 days before submitting a new one. Failure to comply will result in any applications submitted in this time frame to be automatically denied & may remove your ability to apply in the future altogether.

    6. Maturity - There is no age requirement for applying, but you are required to show maturity at all times as a Staff Member on JailsMC. This includes your ability to recognise, take responsibility for, & improve upon mistakes.

Please note, that your behaviour prior to, and during the pending status of your application will be monitored & taken into consideration when deciding on your application.

Every question is required to be answered. If it doesn't apply to you, state this rather than leaving it out.

    1. What is your Minecraft username?
    2. What is your timezone?
    3. How long have you been a part of the community?
    4. How many hours per day can you contribute towards your position?
    5. Why should you be chosen over other applicants? (What makes you stand out?)
    6. Have you received any punishments before, if so list the punishment & the reason.
    7. Link to your last application (if any?)
    8. Do you have any previous experience moderating or leading a server? You may post names, but not IPs
    9. Do you agree that if you mention your application to any staff member/in public chat, it will be instantly denied?
    10. Is there anything else you'd like to add?

Failure to use this format will result in your application being automatically denied.
Attempts to plagiarise any applications from this, or other servers will result in your application being automatically

The format may be changed at any time with or without warning.

    How to apply

In order to apply, you must first make sure you meet the requirements above and then proceed to copy & paste the format into a new thread under this section of the Forums. Include the questions in your answer.

Please name your application in the following way.

    Ingame name - Helper application

    e.g 'ItsIcyC - Helper application'

Remember, this is your chance to show the Administrative team why you should be chosen to take a step forward & lead JailsMC. While quality is always chosen over quantity, it is clear in your application how much time & effort you have taken on it.

If you are a player on the server, you are able to leave feedback on applications, by using a +/-1 with a reason to show your opinion.

Mentioning your application in public chat, or to a staff member will result in your application being automatically denied.
Asking someone else to leave a +1 will result in your application being automatically denied.
Creating alternate Forum accounts to leave a +1 will result in your application being automatically denied.
You are allowed to reply to comments on your application, but excessively 'bumping' it will result in your application being automatically denied.

    Good luck!
